Happy Halloween!

How do you celebrate halloween in Morocco?  You order costumes online, go to the embassy, and trick or treat out of spooky car trunks in the parking lot!  If you slacked in the mom department and didn't order costumes in time, you go to the medina and get soccer jerseys for the family!  Don't mind that Gabriel and Jamil wore the same costumes last year.  However, it seems much more fitting here in a country where everyone LOVES soccer (including us), and we'll all get to wear our jerseys many more times.  Now we just need to figure out how to score tickets to an actual Barca game!  Thanks to Christen Speak for putting together a great halloween party at the embassy!
Trunk or treat!  This daring car let the kids grab their own candy!

Light The Night

The Saunders and The Musas participated in the "Light the Night" walk at the Ibn Sina park in honor of the late Bob Yablonski and in support of Steve Murphy.  We were able to attend this annual event last year in DC, which supports the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.  This year in Morocco, we were honored to connect with our Olmsted family even from afar.  Read more about Light the Night here.
